Arlington Heating has serviced our units for 18 years. We have relocated ducts, gotten new systems, had the a/c unit that came with the house replaced STAT just before the 4th of July when we were having house guests. They have worked with us closely and creatively to shoehorn new technologies into our old house. Jerrell is the tech who comes to our house twice a year to do the seasonal checks. He is polite, efficient, tidy, respectful of our house and quiet! We have been satisfied with every interaction. Highly recommend.

Our problem has NOT been resolved. As much as we appreciate Arlington H & AC as a family-owned, friendly, reliable, and technologically proficient provider for for over 25 years, the servicing on this issue is below standard. The first visit identified our problem, requiring new parts at over $4,000. Regrettably, to do the installation, much interface with Carrier is required, and their hours of service limit what Arlington is able to do and complicate the timing. No one was aware at first, but apparently the technician improperly installed the board the first time, causing system failure and a second visit.

Installation the first time was done incorrectly, requiring a second visit. Shortly after the new board was installed, it failed and will be replaced under warranty. We are now waiting for a second new board and installation. We value and trust Arlington, and while Carrier is certainly a name brand, we now think we are the victims of having been sold a proverbial "lemon.".

We are hopeful that reinstallation on the third visit will resolve our issues. Up until now we have been quite satisfied with the Zone system heating and AC. You may want to discuss this with Carrier.

I have been using Arlington Heating and Air Conditioning for 4 decades. During that time, we have had numerous techs do work on our houses. Without fail, they are well trained, courteous, efficient, and cost-effective. I have used other companies from time to time, but I always come back to Arlington Heating and Air Conditioning. In February 2025, they installed a new boiler with associated fittings, valves, etc. The attention to detail was remarkable, right down to getting a cover plate large enough to cover the discolored area from the old thermostat. All thumbs up!

I'd like to recognize Marlon who has performed seasoning servicing of our 2 HVAC systems. He is an experienced technician! Marlon found that one of our AC condensers had a major faulty part that was in warranty. He returned and easily replaced it. Again, I appreciate having experienced and also friendly service technicians work to maintain our HVAC systems.

I just paid both a service fee of approximately $159 and nearly $800 in services, only to discover that whatever the tech technician did, it did absolutely nothing to rectify the problem I was having. I am waiting to hear back from them and hope that they will contact me and make things right, ASAP. As it is, I’m stuck with insufficient heat for the entire weekend despite having the cost to me in time and money. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I even tipped the technician.

“Nothing like a blank thermostat screen on a 3-day weekend a few days before weather is forecast to be in the teens. I have a service inspection contract with Arlington Heating and Cooling, made an emergency services call, and learned it was an exceptionally busy time and they would send a tech expert ASAP. That didn’t happen until the next day, but mild (for winter) conditions and a couple space heaters got us to President’s Day when a very early call from the office reconfirmed the Sunday message. Martin showed up and saved the day. He is our regular professional, knows our system and was surprised that I had a problem. In no time he analyzed the situation, fixed the offending components, and left us with a quickly heating home. Martin is a gem, totally professional and technically agile and skilled, while the team at the home office are attentive and focused. Thank you Martin and Arlington Heating and Cooling.”

We've been working with Arlington Heating & Air Conditioning since we bought our first home in 2006. We saw their name/number on a sticker on our furnace, and as young, first-time homeowners we figured that's who we should call to be our HVAC service partner (i.e., if it was good enough for the last and more knowledgable homeowners, it's good enough for us, right!). Now, nearly 20 years later. they have shown us time and time again that we clearly made the right call. We have since moved from that first home, and they were our first call when we moved, including when we needed to install new and multiple systems. We love seeing faces of technicians we've known for years as well as meeting new faces. Everyone we have worked with -- from scheduling to sales to service -- has been friendly, knowledgeable and reliable -- what more could you ask for!
